Classroom News Week of December 8-12

BOOK ORDERS -  Book orders for the Forest will be due on Thursday (12/11).

WEATHER -  Please remember to send students dressed for the weather.  They will be asked to go outside and play during recess time and some also have to wait outside for their bus.  Ms. McNutt and I ask students to wear a coat when they go outside (a sweatshirt is not warm enough).  Gloves/mittens, scarf, and hat will be needed as the weather gets even colder.

BOX TOPS -  Please continue to send in those box tops.  Prizes will be awarded throughout the school year.  Please ask friends, neighbors, and relatives to start saving box tops for your student and send them in!

Please remind your student to make sure they bring their homework folder to school every day and don't forget to have them read a minimum of 20 minutes each day.  They have a reading skill that they need to work on each week.  Students need to practice reading to themselves as well as to an adult.  Please check for fluency.
