If you're in need of communication being sent home to two households, please be sure to contact us so we know how to get information home to the parent(s)/guardians at the second household.  Our easiest way to get information home to all concerned is to send it by e-mail or post it on our website, so hopefully all parents/guardians will get any e-mail addresses they have to us, and check the Moses Lakes Schools' website frequently.

Our fifth graders will have swimming lessons at the high school in the mornings during the last two weeks of October (October 20-24 and October 27-30). Make sure your child comes to school with a swim suit and towel. We have found it to be easiest if the students wear their swimming suits under their clothing when they come to school. We swim in the morning, and if their suits are already on, the students take less time getting dressed. If your child does wear his/her suit under his/her clothes, he/she wants to remember to bring underclothes to put on after swimming.

October 30th will be our Halloween party.  We'll celebrate in our classrooms from 12:00 - 12:30, right before the early dismissal at 12:30.

October 31st is our recording keeping day, so there will be no school for students. Conferences are November 3-5. We have sent home your conference time(s).  Thanks to all of you that have confirmed by sending the signed portion back in to us.

There will be a social studies test over chapter 2 on Monday, along with a states' quiz over the first 14 states, alphabetically.  Your child received a study sheet to prepare for the chapter test this past Wednesday.  Do you see any studying going on at home?
