Week of January 5th - 9th Welcome Back!! I hope you all enjoyed a restful vacation! The assignments for this week are as follows: Miss Garbe Math Monday: Snow Day Tuesday: Fraction Review Page 352 19-27 (Homework: Road Hunting) Wednesday: Multiplying Fractions Page 265 1-14 (Homework: Page 269-270 1-14) Thursday: Multiplying Fractions by Whole Numbers - It's Not Easy Worksheet (Homework: Let's Salsa Worksheet) Friday: Weekly Quiz; POW Science Monday: Snow Day Tuesday: Light Stations Wednesday: Light Stations Thursday: Using and Studying Light Reading Friday: Sources of Light Mrs. Thompson: History: Monday-Thursday: Current Events (Due Friday) -Check on Ms. Stackhouse's page for a reminder of what I am looking for when I grade your CE. Remember, you must get at least 10/15 to get credit for this assignment! Fertile Crescent Brochure- To keep you moving along, I am assigning certain sections to be completed by certain days. If you do not complete it in class it then becomes homework, due the next day. Monday- Work on brochure Missing Assignment Reports Tuesday- Work on brochure Missing Assignment Reports are due. Wednesday- Work on brochure Thursday- Progress reports going home. Brochure due the beginning of the block. We will be watching the movie "The Egyptian Prince". Progress reports going home, return by 12/19 if your able, if not be sure to turn in on the first day back from Winter Break (1/5/09). Friday- Lots going on! Turn in CE and finish watching "The Egyptian Prince". You may bring snacks and a clear drink with you today for when you watch your movie. Make sure the drink is in a plastic container with a screw top lid. Current events are due Language Arts Monday: Spelling words: describe, inscription, manuscript, postscript, prescription, scribble, scribe, script, subscription, transcribe Reading Record and Missing Assignment Report comes home today Block 2 -Compare and contrast paragraph Block 4 -Shoes! part 2 Tuesday-Wednesday: Block 4 -Compare/Contrast writing: Shoe 1, Shoe 2 Spelling activity Block 2 Charlotte Doyle chapter 8 Thursday: Library & Fluency today Spelling activity Spelling Test Friday: Reading Log Due Charlotte Doyle * If you know you are leaving early and wont be here on Thursday or Friday please try and turn in all work that is due those days on Wednesday :)
