Garden Heights Families,

It’s awesome to be a Tiger!  The process of coming up with school colors and a mascot began last spring and our students’ voices were heard.  That’s right, as of September, we’re officially the Garden Heights Tigers and our school colors are red and black.  It’s been exciting to watch this theme emanate around the hallways and classrooms of our building.  Even our Jog-A-Thon t-shirts this year were full of Tiger pride.  We also have our ASB officers elected for the 2009-2010 school year and they are as follows:  President – Daniel Sinchuk, Vice-President – Spencer Bowen, Secretary – Nolan Sloan, and Treasurer – Jacob Sanzone. 

On behalf of all of us at Garden Heights, we feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with your children everyday.  As reflected in our mission statement, we are devoted to providing each child with the best possible education and our commitment to this mission is sincere: Garden Heights- A community dedicated to growing great learners in an atmosphere fostering mutual respect.  We continue to teach our children to make choices that are safe, responsible and respectful, as part of our positive behavior intervention program.  

Thank you for your continuous support.  We are blessed to have such an active Parent Teacher Organization and the many hours of volunteer work that our families give is greatly appreciated.
